Prof. Polona Žnidaršič Plazl is professor at the Chair of Chemical Process, Environmental, and Biochemical Engineering at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Her research focuses on implementing microflow systems in biocatalysis and downstream processing. Throughout her career, she has held various teaching and research positions and is currently a full professor of biotechnology at University of Ljubljana. She has also studied and worked abroad, including as a Fulbright scholar in the United States. Prof. Žnidaršič Plazl is also an initiator and co-chair of the conference series "Implementation of Microreactor Technology in Biotechnology" (IMTB).
