- Dr. Eterigho Elizabeth Jumoke, an Associate Professor with over 30 years of professional experience in academia, administration, and consultancy. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Newcastle University, U.K. (2012), and M.Eng. degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Industrial Production Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Minna in years 2002 and 2000 respectively. Her Baccalaureate was in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Minna in 1991. Throughout her career, she have served in various academic and administrative capacities at the Federal University of Technology, Minna. She contributed significantly to teaching, research, and student development, supervising numerous undergraduate and postgraduate theses. In addition, whether at the state level, university level, faculty level or at the departmental level, she have held leadership roles such as the President of the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN). Deputy Director of the University Advancement Office and Member of the University Governing Council, where she worked to advance institutional growth and innovation. Her contributions extend beyond academia into consultancy, where she has worked on impactful projects such as child labour analysis in artisanal mining for the International Labour Organization (ILO) and renewable energy initiatives. she has been honoured with several national and international awards, including the COREN Presidential Award and the APWEN National Award, for her contributions to engineering and development. In her professional capacity, she is frequently called upon to participate in high-level panels and editorial/review committees where she is entrusted with evaluating and judging the work of others. She is actively involved in professional and community service and hold memberships in renowned organizations such as the Nigerian Society of Engineers (Fellow Status — FNSE), the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (Fellow status — FNSChE), the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), and the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN). Her research focuses on advancing solutions in biodiesel optimization, renewable hydrogen synthesis, and environmental sustainability, and has published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals. Her work continues to make meaningful contributions to engineering innovation and sustainable development in the field of industrial and chemical engineering. She takes great pride in her leadership abilities, organizational management skills, and technical expertise in engineering processes. She is deeply committed to fostering capacity development, advancing the engineering and technology sectors, and mentoring the next generation of professionals.
