A desiccating saline lake bed is a significant source of anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions

The Great Salt Lake is drying up, and the dried lake edges emit significantly more greenhouse gases. This One Earth Research Article measures the GHG emissions and estimates how much of those emissions are 'anthropogenic', i.e., caused by excessive water withdrawals.
